In order to conserve the ever-so degrading count of Animal and Bird Kingdom, The Government of Karnataka constituted The Karnataka Biodiversity Board (K.B.B.). The major functions were to cautiously capitalize the current count of various species existing in the Karnataka Biodiversity and devise a strategy to bring the level to a tolerable limit. The Karnataka Biodiversity Board also plays its part in educating others about conservation of wildlife and how centrally important they are in maintaining a proper balance in the overall food chain.
